Free Vocational Training Program “Προετοιμάσου για το Αύριο (Prepare for tomorrow)” by PAPASTRATOS in collaboration with IVEPE-SEV

A new big vocational training program for 1,000 unemployed in Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras and Volos, started in October 2016, exclusively funded by PAPASTRATOS (an Affiliate of Philip Morris International), in collaboration IVEPE-SEV.

The program “Προετοιμάσου για το Αύριο (Prepare for tomorrow)” offers free training and certification to unemployed from 22-30 years old that want to develop their skills and acquire specialized knowledge in order to improve their competitiveness in the job market. It worths to be noted that this is the program’s third phase and is implemented being exclusively funded by PAPASTRATOS, without any other community or state financial support.

The new phase of the program includes the following training subjects:

  • e-commerce
  • web designer
  • hotel receptionist 
  • accounting 
  • administration secretary and 
  • sales

These training subjects provide perspectives on current and future conditions and needs of the economy and labor market. All include both theoretical and practical training and at the end of the course after successful participation in the certification exams, participants receive both certificate of successful attendance and certificate of competence.

Our programs are designed based on real business needs for well-trained personel and since 2013 we have provided free training and certification to a total of 1,300 unemployed people, who improved their competitiveness in the job market.

A few words about PAPASTRATOS

PAPASTRATOS, 85 years after its founding, is the largest tobacco producer in Greece. The parent company Philip Morris International (PMI) absorbs most of the Greek production of tobacco.
