IVEPE-SEV being a member of EfVET (European Forum for Vocational Education & Training) participated in the Annual Virtual Conference 2020 on: "COVID-19 beyond 2020: A new generation of VET?" on 22 October 2020.

IVEPE-SEV was one of the gold sponsors at SEV's Annual General Meeting 2020, with the thematic moto “We insist. We success. Together. #ElladaAllios", which was held for the first time remotely-online and was broadcasted live via the internet on Monday June 15 2020.

The main key for the transition to Industry 4.0 is education and professional training in specialized skills.

IVEPE-SEV participated actively in the Joint Staff Training Event of MagicSens (MAnaging Graduated approach and Including balanced Curriculum for Special Educational Needs Students), held in Bucharest on January 20-23 of 2020, with partners from Romania, Ireland, Italy and Greece.

IVEPE-SEV was strategic sponsor of SEV's Industrial Conference, held on 19 December 2019 in Hilton (Athens) with main theme the 4th Industrial Revolution.

IVEPE-SEV has successfully participated in the 3rd transnational meeting of the DIVET project, which was organized in Istanbul, Turkey on 21-22 November 2019. 

On Monday 14th of October 2019, the second annual meeting for the EEA and Norway Grants Funded Project SocialNeet was successfully held in Terni, Italy. The meeting was attended by representatives of all partners from Greece, Italy, Spain, Slovenia, Portugal and Belgium, together with IVEPE-SEV. It ended with an interesting visit to the premises of the Italian partners.

IVEPE-SEV in the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility Action Plan 2019-2020, hosted with success on Friday 11 October 2019, the Fireathon initiative at its premises in Athens, launched by SciFy and SciCo. The aim of the Firathon initiative is to develop technological solutions for detecting, recording and extinguishing fires, educating the public and studying their realistic applications.

Partners Meeting of the European Program MagicSens was held on 02-03 September with great success. MagicSens is an innovative project aiming to enhance the skills and competences of teachers, teachers trainers and all those subjects from the educational chain in dealing with young people with Special Educational Needs such as specific learning disabilities and language problems, ADHD deficit (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), ASD deficit (Autistic Spectrum Disorders) and Borderline Intellectual Functioning.
